CrossFit Tidewater delivers the CrossFit program exactly as it is intended. The stimulus provided are by design, constantly varied, using functional movements, performed at a high intensity. Our specialty is not specializing and our goal is constant progress. The community is welcoming, and is one of support and camaraderie to anyone seeking maximal health and fitness.

At our Chesapeake CrossFit Gym we understand that our members come to us with a variety of fitness experience, from being new to fitness, through being a professional athlete.

Base your diet on lean meats, organic or garden vegetables, some fruit, seeds, nuts, little starch and no sugar.

What may finally be the best of all worlds, the InBody is a machine that combines the ease-of-use of a bio-electrical impedance device with the accuracy of hydro-static weighing.
In testing the InBody correlated with the hydro-static results with 98 percent agreement.
The process involves standing on a metal platform and holding onto two handles for about one minute.
In addition to your body fat percentage, the InBody can tell you where your fat is stored and where you have water collecting in your body (edema), which can be a sign of injury or inflammation.
CrossFit Tidewater located between Bowers Hill and Deep Creek area of Chesapeake, on the edge of Portsmouth.
Each class is one hour long including a full warm up, workout, and cool down.
We use High Intensity Training & Constantly Varied Programming in every class so that you never get bored and never know what to expect.

At CrossFit Tidewater, we believe CrossFit is an excellent part of a healthy lifestyle, keeping bodies strong and healthy.
Every day in CrossFit there is a different WOD (workout of the day).
Each session, which lasts about an hour, includes the following elements: a warmup, the core portion of the workout, and a cool down.
