You will start to feel better almost immediately.
Physically you can should start seeing results within 4-6 weeks of starting the program if you exercise regularly and eat healthy most of the time.
How much can I realistically expect to lose?
This depends on the individual.
That being said, a realistic healthy goal would be to lose between 1 and 3 pounds per week for an overweight person.
Kids over the age of 9 or 10 can do strength training.
Before that it is more about learning how to control their bodies through games and fun activities.
