My name is AJ Hanley, I have been a personal trainer since 2015, and have been an independent business since late 2017. I have always been passionate about health and exercise from my early motivation of wanting to get stronger for my high school basketball team to fast forward 10 years later to wanting to be able to keep my body moving well into my older ages.
My philosophy now is very much one of balance in all parts of life. I realize that the physical aspect of health pales in the comparison to the mental side of it. Not only do I want to help you reach your physical goals, I want to help you change the entire way you think about exercise, fitness, and nutrition. I understand that it can seem overwhelming and even intimidating when you first begin your workout regime, especially at big commercial gyms.
My hope is to get you comfortable in the gym by teaching you foundational movements that will not only improve the way you look, but the way you function in everyday life. On top of that I will educate you on why we do certain movements and what exactly they are strengthening/improving.
