The Jumping Jax Gym was created in 2011 by Kinesiologist, Scott Sassman. A graduate from West Chester University and recipient of Teacher of the Year for the state of Florida's Juvenile Justice. I am a collegiate athlete that has been involved in sports for the past 30 years. During summer breaks in college I was a camp counselor at a number of summer camps throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
During my P.E. Practicum I taught early childhood education and have taught as lead teacher in both preschools and Kindergarten. In 2001 I began assisting in the implementation of a preschool Physical Education Curiculum called The Wacky Gym. This program, founded by Patrick Hall has grown from a one van mobile unit into a six van program with two facilities in New Jersey.
With Physical Education being a necessity at the early childhood stages of life, a program like Jumping Jax Gym can ensure our children reach their potential.

Kinesiologist Scott Sassman has designed a 25 minute workout video will have your kids, families, classes and groups working through a variety of exercises designed to burn calories, increase cardio and build muscle!
Each section focuses on a different aspect of fitness including: a warm up, cardio, strength and conditioning muscle sculpting with weights ( water bottles, cans, books etc.) and cool down.

This area of Jumping Jax Gym allows children ages 2-12 to develop the basic movements required to be successful in the elementary phase of gymnastics.

Jumping Jax has been a part of our Extra Curricular activities for 2 years now and it is absolutely one of our children's favorites.
The children become so excited for class that they even recognize which day they get to attend Jumping Jax.
