Paul Timmons' diversity as both a strength and endurance athlete, combined with over 20 years experience as a fitness professional offers a unique coaching perspective. This point is further illustrated by the fact that Timmons holds two DE state records in different weight classes in the deadlift, and was the first person ever to complete a 15 mile swim from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen, Delaware.
During his athletic career Paul is 15-0 as a competitive power lifter in four states, has completed 6 Ironman Triathlons, including 3 at The world Championships in Kona, has run 20 marathons, including Boston and was the top American at the 2016 Crash B Indoor Rowing World Championships in the Men's 40-49 lightweight division.
In addition, Timmons holds the rank of Renshi, which is the equivalent of a 6th degree Black Belt in Kenjutsu from The Delaware Budokan, and is a Certified International Instructor via the The All Japan Budo Federation Seibukan Academy in Kyoto which is the governing body overseeing all traditional Japanese Arts.
