I wanted to start living life on MY terms rather than by the terms of another wine bottle.
Right away I leaned into a fitness routine to not only help me stay sober, but to improve my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
I also slowly cleaned up my diet to eat more simple, whole foods.
I journaled, read, did yoga, and made sure to rest whenever possible.
Because of all of these incredible changes, as well as my ever-growing passion for fitness, I decided to hit pause on my career as a high school counselor and return to school to earn a Master's degree in Exercise Science.
