My success as a personal trainer has spanned more than 30 years, having trained many people, of many ages, and from various fitness levels. I have also successfully coached youth sports for soccer, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, and was also a high school JV wrestling coach. I competed as a Division I wrestler while attending Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, then moved on to become an amateur bodybuilder winning the title of Mr. DC NPC.
I work out daily, and keep myself motivated by competing in annual sporting competitions. My mother was a fitness lover and wanted to make sure her five sons understood how to use free weights, and also appreciate the beauty of being fit, and thereby, healthy. She enlisted the help of an experienced personal trainer, and the experience of training as a teen shaped three important principles I now teach to my clients: technique, repetition, and weight volume balance.
Currently, my clients span the ages of 9 to 76. Some clients have special needs, some are beginners, and some are experienced bodybuilding and athletes.
