Two dedicated personal training clients asked me back in 2013 a question for which I had no answer. The question: What can we eat for breakfast that is nutrient dense, low carb, satisfying and will fuel us with energy? That question led me down a path to seek the answer. My journey took me to grocery stores of all kinds, reading the ingredients of power bars, cereals, and organic solutions to breakfast of every type.

But nothing met my standards for being delicious, nutrient-dense, low carb, gluten-free, and all real food ingredients. Her background as a professional chef, owner of Power & Balance Fitness and Nutrition, and three decades of autoimmune research provide her with the knowledge and experience to coach her clients towards achievement of their goals.

Her study of autoimmune diseases was sparked when her first child was a just a toddler and she began to experience the debilitating effects of the yet-to-be diagnosed Lupus.
