At BETA we are more than just rock climbing. At our facility in Stamford CT, we aim to enhance health and wellness through physical activity as well as physical community. Challenge yourself on our state of the art indoor climbing terrain, build endurance in our gym, and meet new friends! Youth Programs at BETA Climbing run all school year, offering a supportive space for young climbers to develop their skills and build confidence.
We believe climbing is more than a sport; it has the power to change lives by offering a platform for kids of all ages to learn teamwork, patience, perseverance, and problem-solving.
In this class, instructors facilitate a low-pressure social environment for kids to practice their climbing skills and have fun on the wall.
Students will explore the gym each week through bouldering + top-rope climbing with guidance from our knowledgeable staff to help them reach their climbing goals.
Looking to give rock climbing a try but don't know where to begin?
BETA Basics is a perfect place to start.
The BETA Basics Package includes our beginner class progression series and two weeks of unlimited climbing (with rental gear!) to develop and practice your new climbing skills.
Climbing 101 (60 min) and Learn the Ropes (90 min) classes are designed to introduce anyone to climbing, from basic safety and terminology, through proper rope management for top rope climbs, and ending with tips and coaching to start reaching for the next level of your climbing progression.
