CrossFit Golden Gate offers group and private fitness classes in the heart of San Francisco. Our focus is an elite strength and conditioning program for people of all fitness levels. Our programming is scalable and perfect for anyone regardless of age, ability, and experience. CrossFit is proven to be an effective way to get leaner, stronger, and more fit and when combined with optimal nutrition, there's no better way to reach your health and fitness goals.
Services
CrossFit Golden Gate is state of the art facility with over 20 squat racks and tons of pull-up bars located at 1185 Sutter Street in the heart of San Francisco.
Ample street parking is available and there is a multi story parking lot one block away at 1399 Bush Street at the corner of Polk.
How do I sign up?
If you are new to CrossFit you must go through our on-ramp program before joining our group CrossFit classes.
Do I need to get in shape before I start?
Absolutely not!
CrossFit is easily scaleable to all levels.
If you're new to CrossFit we offer an on-ramp course consisting of three one hour sessions in which we introduce you to the basic movements seen in CrossFit workouts.
In this group session, limited to four people per class, we review the functional movements and give you a complete overview of what we to expect in group classes.
Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or fitness level.
If you prefer, you can also schedule a private introduction and we'll get you started immediately with a series of personal training sessions.
At CrossFit Golden Gate you'll find programming that combines gymnastics, weightlifting, calisthenics, plyometrics, rope climbing, rowing, kettlebells, running and anything fun we can cook up.
Our goal is to provide an engaging and challenging fitness experience that increases your strength, endurance, and mobility.

It relates to a variety of physical efforts, ranging from lifting a heavy barbell to climbing ropes or doing pullups.
We are strength and fitness junkies passionate about CrossFit and training like old time beasts.
We live for the sensation of gripping the cold steel bar, the chalky wooden rings, and the frayed climbing ropes.
We believe that fitness should be fun again and we draw our inspiration from a wide variety of weightlifting and gymnastics movements and utilize them to build strength and fitness.
We are building a fitness community where 9 to 5'ers, soccer moms, and elite athletes can share in success and achieve their goals to become stronger, faster, leaner, and healthier.
