CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movement, done at relatively high intensity. What does that mean? Well, we do a bunch of different workouts, comprised of simple body-weight and free-weight movements, and we are pushing ourselves as hard as we want to or can on that day. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
CrossFit Lite is the same as CrossFit. We recognize that there are MANY people who may feel more comfortable in smaller classes. In CrossFit Lite we keep our class sizes capped and we emphasize a more comfortable environment that will always give you a good workout. We teach and coach the Olympic lifts and related barbell exercises for health, fitness, sports performance, and competition.
We offer weightlifting coaching in an old-school environment. Functional movements at high intensity combining gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. Requires previous experience in CrossFit or completion of Verdant|On Ramps.

At Verdant CrossFit we want to set up all our new members for success.
If you are someone who wants to do CrossFit we have a Foundation curriculum that we've used for years to introduce you to CrossFit.
For our CrossFit Lite members we do not require Foundation classes.
Anyone who is new to CrossFit here or anywhere else needs to go through an On-Ramp process.
We know that some folks would like to try out a class, so we do provide a free trial class.
After that initial, free trial class we move our new students into our On-Ramp Program.

These classes run almost every hour of the day and each class has a specific warm-up, a strength element, and then a metabolic conditioning block.
Warm-Ups are often overlooked or rushed through by a lot of gyms, but at Verdant, we spend a lot of time developing warm ups that are specific to the movements that we are practicing that day.
We also mix functional body-building and core strength each day.
We run group based fitness classes that are instructed by a qualified instructor.
