At NorthStar CrossFit, we believe life is all about choices. If you want to be fit, you must make choices to support that decision. When you try your first CrossFit class at NorthStar, you can expect to be greeted by at least one of the owners, coaches, or members. This is the first of many things that makes a CrossFit gym different than any other - the members and coaches come together to form an amazing community, almost like a second family! After being greeted, receiving a tour and getting your questions answered, you are ready to get started.

You may ask if you are actually ready - and YES, you are! At NorthStar CrossFit, we evaluate your fitness level so as to provide you with the appropriate instruction and modification for any of the movements. This is such a great place to workout.

What was your first day at NSCF like?
It was a little intimidating at first, working out at 6:45 in the morning was definitely something new to add to the schedule.
However, every bit of the process from warming up to lying on the floor completely exhausted from the workout was something that I enjoyed.
What changes have you experienced since starting CrossFit that were completely unexpected?
We focus on utilizing weightlifting, body weight movements, gymnastics movements and cardio to help you reach your fitness goals.
It may sound scary and out of your comfort zone, but don't let it keep you from trying something new.
We focus on ensuring all movements are being performed properly before adding weight or trying advanced movements.
Everything we do is rooted in the foundation of all movements - this helps us make sure you are getting the most out of your workout and avoiding any injury along the way.
CrossFit is not reserved just for adults or the experienced; it's a lifestyle designed for the entire family.
Bring your preschoolers, pre-teens or teenagers and get them involved - make CrossFit a family affair.
At NorthStar CrossFit, fitness is always fun! We begin with a warm up, do a quick workout and finish with a game.
They will learn fundamental movements including squats, push-ups, pull ups, climbing, jumping, running, stretching and elementary gymnastics movements.
More importantly, your child will also learn to follow directions, listen, communicate and play with others.
