CrossFit is a regimen of constantly varied (CV), functional movements (FM) performed at high intensity (HI) in a communal environment that leads to health and fitness.

CrossFit is a regimen of constantly varied (CV), functional movements (FM) performed at high intensity (HI) in a communal environment that leads to health and fitness.
At CrossFit Sodality, we believe in the unity of fitness and family.
Although CrossFit combines many other elements, one of the key characteristics is a daily workout, hence the "workout of the day".
These are either done "AMRAP" (see below for definition) in a certain amount of time; or complete a circuit as fast as possible.
Workout that is used as a baseline to measure progress, usually named after girls, such as Fran, Diane, and Grace.
Another type of workout with a fixed time limit is EMOM, or every minute on the minute.
These workouts are also scored as how many reps you can do overall, but note that as time goes on your rest periods will likely get shorter!

Americo has always had an affinity for all things athletic.
Beyond the many sports he played through his youth, his love for oreos in the middle of the night coupled with his awful sleep patterns guided him in the direction of CrossFit.
It was CrossFit that served as a catalyst for Americo's passion to coach and inspire others.
Americo has, and continues to, coach strength and conditioning for the football team at Summerville High School.
Additionally, he was inspired to open CrossFit Sodality with his wife where he hopes you will always feel like family walking through the doors.

Chasity has been passionate about sports and fitness all her life.
For the past 7 years, she has coached basketball, softball, and volleyball to youth in Tuolumne County.
Her enthusiasm for fitness eventually led to the discovery of CrossFit where she found the ideal combination of athleticism, community, and fitness (and the ability to eat her crunch wrap supremes *no tomatoes* guilt-free).
This passion for fitness and community ultimately led to opening CrossFit Sodality.

Cheryl's long time devotion and work ethic dedicated to the sport of body building led her to win multiple titles, 1st San Francisco Championship (National Physique Committee), 1st Palms Spring Classic (NPC), and 2nd Iron Maiden at the Iron Viking Championships (NPC) and medals in many other small local meets.
Cheryl's love for fitness did not stop there.
