The coaches at CrossFit Westport bring various skills, experience and personalities to our classes.

Amy has not always been an athlete but grew up acting, singing and dancing.
Her passion was theater.
She has always lived a healthy lifestyle, but for most of her life she ran and took spinning and interval classes to stay trim.
Then one day back in 2010, a friend brought Amy to a CrossFit box.
Our group-coaching program is for those looking for extremely well-rounded, constantly varied fitness in an engaging, fun and motivating group setting.
Expect hard work, results, camaraderie and a fun environment of people who share like-minded values.
Most group sessions will follow a similar format: warm-up, structural work/midline, mobility, base strength and then a conditioning (high-intensity) focus followed by a proper cool-down.
This fast paced class mixes strength building and muscular endurance for a high intensity, sweaty workout.
Experience thoughtful programming, knowledgeable coaches, and a high quality equipment ideal for functional fitness.

Have you changed your diet?
If so, how?
I have always been pretty strict with my diet and have a good sense of mindful eating.
The main changes I have made since joining has been to increase daily calories to optimize recovery.
How has CFW helped you in your life?
Has it changed the way you approach anything, parenting, obstacles, etc?
Most of all CFW is a great escape from the nuances and stresses that occur during the week.
It gets the day going on both a positive and productive note.
