In 2001, Paul Wade celebrated a Golden Gloves title win.
Following that, he began to focus on training and developing fighters, producing numerous Golden Gloves champions.
But boxing in San Francisco had seen better days, and there was a pressing need for an authentic gym.
A space on Third Street opened up, and with its concrete walls, iron piping, and low ceilings, it had the look and feel he wanted: a hard space for hard workouts.
Today, 3rd Street is home to aspiring amateurs and local pros alike.

We offer Beginner Boxing 1 no experience is required, and this first class is 50% off!
You won't need gloves or hand wraps for this class; just bring a jump rope for warmup (or you can loan or buy one at the front desk).
Please note, this class is popular and normally fills up-if you no-show or late cancel (less than 4 hours), you'll be billed a fee!
Beginner Boxing 3! We only require you to take Beginner Boxing 1 and 2 once each (although you're welcome to take them again if you'd like!).

Our team takes adequate time between each class, personal training session, and open gym hour to thoroughly sanitize the entire facility.
Please take the time before coming to our facility to carefully read the new protocols listed below.
If clients wish to work out without a mask, they must show proof of full vaccination upon entry.
