Charles River Fitness is doing its part to help people stay active, fit, and -- most importantly -- safe during these difficult times. Currently only one-on-one sessions are being scheduled in the spacious, airy, and private 1,200 square-foot studio with a half-hour gap between sessions to allow for clean-up, sanitizing, and air circulation. Temperatures are checked before every session and masks are required for all clients.

I want you to feel just as confident about the cleanliness of the studio as you do about my skills as a fitness professional. By limiting the number of people per week who enter the studio, I can help you achieve your fitness goals in the safest and cleanest environment possible. We're all in this together and by working together to maintain a safe and positive workout space, we can -- hopefully -- all come out of this with our minds, bodies, and spirits stronger than ever.

You're not the same as anyone else, so why should you be doing the same workout as anyone else? Achieve YOUR goals with a highly effective workout program designed specifically for YOUR body and YOUR likes, dislikes, and capabilities.
Services
Charles River Fitness is an independent training facility that specializes in one-on-one/two-on-one personal training and sport-specific strengthening and conditioning.
Steve Steinberg has been in the fitness industry for more than 15 years as a trainer, teacher, and writer.
As a trainer and corrective exercise specialist (CES), he's helped folks rediscover their bodies and rekindle their passion for movement.
He's helped clients become stronger and more confident than they believed they could become.
When it comes to our bodies, we all have goals.
For some, it's weight loss.
For others, it's weight gain.
For some, it's about being able to go through the day pain-free.
And for others, it's about looking stunning in whatever they wear.
Whatever your goals, you need a workout program that's intelligently designed to help you reach them.
Boredom is the result of a program that isn't challenging enough.
Exercises that were originally exciting and different have become stale and old.
Your body adapts to the movements, fitness levels stop progressing, and you become bored of the workouts and disillusioned by the lack of measurable improvements.
It doesn't matter what sport you play; you're only going to perform as well as your body will allow you to.
Every sport requires the body to perform specific movement patterns that demand a lot of different body parts to work together in harmony in a very specific timing sequence.
If there's a breakdown in that chain of events, there's a breakdown in your game.
It's easy to blame your nine-iron, tennis racket, or footwear when things go wrong.
But, for the most part, it's the body that's swinging that club or racket and wearing those shoes that's to blame.
I started working out with Steve in 2007 and am addicted.
As a 50-something woman who works long hours, going to a standard gym was not working.
I just didn't go.
I need the accountability of a trainer.
Now, I look forward to my workouts with Steve, and always leave feeling so much better than walking in.
I am stronger and healthier and more coordinated.
Steve is different than any other personal trainer I have ever experienced.
The only bad part of training with Steve is he ruins you for any other trainer.
