Phil and Stacey are excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Phil has created a personalized training program for me and. is always helping me strive for more. For the past few months I have been searching for the perfect gym in the Commack area, with so many to choose from I. finally FOUND IT! I couldn't be happier since finding this amazing place.

The owners Phil and Stacy are there everyday with a friendly and welcoming smile. They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have been going to the morning spin classes and workout classes and love it! The trainers are awesome and so are the members.

I am the founder of Intelligent Fitness.
Phil Sottile is the founder of Intelligent Fitness.
He wields a mastery and command of the applied fitness sciences and has worked as an entrepreneur and activist in the fitness industry since 1994.
Sottile formed his first company at 24 years old while working as a Physical Therapy Apprentice and reversed merged it in a capitalized public offering, eventually using his original concepts, algorithms, approach, and technical philosophies and fundamentals of this project to scribe the foundation and operations platform for Intelligent Fitness in 2001.

My husband and I own and operate INTELLIGENT FITNESS.

In addition to my distinction as a Group Fitness Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) I am certified as a National Academy Sports Medicine Fitness Instructor and Corrective Exercise Specialist since 2005.

Strong-n-Firm is our signature class that encompasses our proprietary approach to strength and total body conditioning.
It is a 45-50 minute experience that targets all major and assisting muscle groups by including basic strength training exercises combined with intervals of various cardiovascular modalities.
