Services
Our program teaches authentic Kung Fu.
Every moment of class time is designed to turn our students into slim, strong, flexible, and skilled individuals.
We teach a northern system of Kung Fu called Tien Shan Pai (Heaven Mountain System), which features a balance of empty hand sets, weapon sets, and two-person training sets.
Tien Shan Pai is a northern style which originated in the Tien Shan mountains of northwestern China.
It is well known in Taiwan as an effective fighting style.
At the same time, it also contains graceful empty-hand and weapons forms stressing rhythm and "ing shou"--the demonstration of power accentuated by solid thuds made by the hands.
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient physical practice combining movement, breath, and meditation.
It is one of the most relaxing exercises available, and is excellent for improving balance and flexibility.
We teach the Yang system of Tai Chi Chuan in the lineage of Yang Chen Fu.
The Yang system is the most widespread, especially in the United States.
Yang Tai Chi is noted for its flowing movements, large, generous postures, clear weight distribution between the feet and "lightness."
Its large stances and full movements are typical of Northern Shaolin boxing, and it is almost a certainty that the two systems share a common heritage.
White Birch Traditional Martial Arts is proud to present children's martial arts programs that will specifically target the needs of your child.
The Kung Fu Tiger Program was designed specially for children ages 7 & 8-years old.
We realize that children this age have specific characteristics that differ from children younger and older than them.
Although some children between the ages of 7 & 8 can keep up with older children, and in some cases, surpass them, the average 7 & 8-year old can benefit from a more specific type of training that will help them develop the best; physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
This non-traditional class is one of the hottest fitness trends on the market today!
Each class burns up to 1000 calories!
This class features an aerobic workout to strengthen the heart and lungs, strength exercises to build the muscles that burn calories when you're at rest, and flexibility exercises to promote a greater range of motion to last your lifetime.
Bored with the same, repeating fitness class or video tape?
These classes continually change!
There are no class formats that repeat to burn you out mentally or physically.
Imagine you've just left the mall in the middle of the afternoon and you're walking to your car.
You parked quite a ways from the entrance and there are 100 different things on your mind as you walk.
The stranger has moved his truck to the parking space next to yours so he can set up the attack.
Just as you reach your car, he jumps from his truck and grabs you by the throat.
We're sad to say this is a true story.
The man in the green truck who attacked Mary and nearly killed her was a convicted rapist and murderer who had been released from prison only 3 weeks earlier.
