Shakra Yoga & Fitness is a 2nd story yoga and fitness studio located in the heart of Downtown Shakopee. Our mission is to create a welcoming, supportive space for fitness and yoga practitioners of all ages and abilities. Our classes range from Beginners Yoga 101 to Advanced High Intensity Interval Training. Yoga classes include Yin, Flow/Vinyasa, Restorative, Gentle and Power.

Group Fitness classes include Sculpt, HIIT, Barre and Circuit Training. ShakRa's Yin/Yang approach to class offerings provides something for everyone, thus creating a one-stop shop for anyone looking for healthy movement at any level. ShakRa's certified instructors bring their own unique style and format to class. Unlike other studios, we are not a big-box, cookie cutter establishment.

We encourage our teachers to bring their own personalities to our space, allowing for freedom of expression and creativity amongst our staff. This approach keeps things fresh for both instructors and students. We encourage ShakRa students to take an immersive approach, trying as many teachers and formats as possible to get a full experience.
Services
Our studio is open 15 minutes prior to each class.
Online sign-up is encouraged, but not required.
As a new student, your first is FREE.
We encourage new students to take as many classes and formats as possible within their first week to fully experience all ShakRa has to offer.
Class styles and formats are listed on our website, along with any pre-requisites for more advanced ShakRa classes.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water and a mat.
If you don't own a mat, we have some for use at the studio.
Our teacher training program is a Yoga Alliance approved curriculum allowing you to be a Yoga Alliance Registered yoga teacher upon successful completion.
We have experienced and dedicated staff to guide you on this amazing journey.
Our teacher training is held one weekend a month (Friday evening - Sunday noon) for 10 months.
The first half is January - May and the second half is August - December.
This is a year-long training that allows the student time to study and experience yoga between the training sessions.
