Our Story began in the summer of 2008 when we purchased a minivan and some gymnastics equipment and started Rising Starz Fitness, Inc. I began my coaching career in 1999 during my freshman year at Aquinas College. I loved kids; it was a perfect fit! I fell in love with the sport, and soon began to dream of one day starting my own gymnastics program.
During my years working in different programs, I was able to train with many great coaches, travel and had the amazing privilege of working with many great kids! The original plan was never a van and a few mats, it was a 20,000 square foot multi-sports plex that offered many different sports for kids and families. In 2010, we expanded our mobile business by adding a second van and partnering further with Appletree Learning Centers, now providing gymnastics and fitness for about 400 preschoolers each week!
In 2011, we began partnering with community programs to offer gymnastics in the evenings. We partnered with Legacy Christian School and Rockford Community Services offering a handful of recreational and preschool classes to youth in the Kentwood and Rockford Communities.

A Rising Starz membership is required for anyone participating in classes.
Your Rising Starz membership provides you with priority class enrollment, discounts on special events, open gyms, and birthday parties!
Membership Fees also help us to provide you with top notch teaching staff!

45-minute adventure of different gymnastics challenges where kids learn to gain a better understanding of their body through control, strength and flexibility.
Our evening classes are located in our specialized preschool area with equipment just their size!

Our girls Shooting Starz class is for the beginner/intermediate gymnast.
These classes are 1 hour in length and cover gymnastics skills on all apparatus.
In this class, our Shooting Starz will be working on learning body control, inverted awareness and all the beginning fundamentals of gymnastics to strengthen their basic skills like handstands & cartwheels.
This is an age based beginner/intermediate level.
When a gymnast turns 7 years old they will advance to the Girls Rec 1/2 program.
If the student has advanced their skills past the Girls 1/2 level, they may be recommended for a Girls Rec 2 class based on their current skill set.
These classes are 1 hour in length and cover gymnastics skills on all apparatus.

Little Ninjas & Ninja Starz are programs for youth, based on obstacle training, parkour, free running and strength.
Ninja Starz is.running, jumping, rolling, climbing, flipping, courage, focus, challenge and success in a safe and progressive environment.
Our trained staff will take kids through progressions that will help them develop discipline, confidence, coordination and mental toughness.
Ninja Starz will teach kids that obstacles are opportunity!

Cancellation before 10am on the day of open gym are eligible for a credit to your account.
Parents are not permitted in the gym area during open gyms.
All participants must adhere to open gym rules and be able to be independent without a parent in the gym area.
Please see the front desk or a coach if you need to get your child.
All mobile children must be registered.
Babies in carseats or non-mobile do not have to be registered, but they must be added into your account for waiver purposes.
