Wakefield is no longer the home of CrossFit 128, we are now located at 216 Newbury St. Peabody MA. Twice the size making much more room for new members and a growing community!. I was looking for something new to get me motivated, since exercise routines have never really stuck with me in the past. Without having much of a weight lifting b. CrossFit 128 was born to better its community.
It was founded on the pillars of equality, respect, and family. We vow to grab ahold of those values tighter than ever. WE have to be BETTER. We do not support racism and have a zero-tolerance policy on the bigotry that exists in this world. At CrossFit 128, you won't find any ellipticals or other machines like a regular gym. We train our bodies to be the machine and that is why we are unlike any other place you have ever been to.
In our facility, you will find barbells and weights, kettlebells, gymnastic rings, ropes and much more. You don't need to use machines to be fit, build your own machine. You will begin with a session with one of our coaches to get you acclimated with the gym and equipment.

In other words, CrossFit is designed to provide its athletes with overall fitness that can be used in everyday life; moving heavy objects properly or carrying groceries and even walking up the stairs.
CrossFit allows athletes to prepare for the "unknown and unknowable", or any task that is thrown your way, with a focus around the ten general physical skills: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, coordination, flexibility, power, speed, balance, accuracy and agility.

I have a pretty competitive drive, but I don't let it ruin my sense of fun!
