At our Red Bank area CrossFit gym, our mission is to educate and inspire others to break through perceived limitations and excel in all aspects of life.
You will use your MIND to break through previous self imposed limits with the help and camaraderie of the community.
Thus, your SPIRIT will be forged into one of great faith in one's self and one's abilities.
Our athletes are extremely diverse in their experience, conditioning, and lives; our community consists of students, business executives, stay-at-home moms, athletes, writers, producers, and martial artists among others.
I started ASG because getting people results mentally and physically was so important to me that creating an atmosphere that solely focused on that was the best way to do so.
We made the decision to affiliate with CrossFit because their philosophy aligned with what we were doing.

CrossFit covers all the basis of fitness and allows people to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
Favorite things to do are too many to list mostly outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, backpacking, mostly spending time with good people.
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.
All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more.
These are the core movements of life.
They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time.
Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time-or power.
The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort.

The staff and owners are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable which is important when you are new to CrossFit or even "working out" in general.

Do it alone or bring a friend along to your 60-minute free intro session where you'll get started by first meeting your personal coach.
Your coach will explain to you the Absolute Strength philosophy and how it will get you, and keep you, more fit than you ever could have imagined.
We will also put you through a short fitness assessment to determine your current strengths and limitations.
