When body30 opened it's doors over 25 years ago, convincing women they needed to workout with weights and add lean muscle mass was a hard sell; it wasnt the popular or trendy thing to do. There weren't many women only fitness studios that focused on muscle and strength training. It was our job to educate and dispel the myth that women would get big and bulky if they had muscles.
When Greg(owner and founder of Body30) started Body30 over 25 years ago he had his senior citizen mother in mind. There had never been a woman only gym with a small, friendly, boutique enviroment that his mom could go to workout. He wanted a facility that women who never worked out or hadn't worked out in a while felt safe and comfortable. He did not want them to feel intimidated to come in.
The feeling of confidence and empowerment that strength training has given her has made her want to share her knowledge and passion with her clients. Sara wants to educate and teach positivity, strength, self confidence, health and all the benefits of being strong and healthy with her clients.

Services
Our classes are done on hydraulic resistance machines that incorporate strength training and cardiovascular training in one.
A lot of our members are either new to exercise or have not done much for many years, these machines are easy to learn and are easy on the joints.
We have women of all ages taking these classes.
Our instructors can also show you how to modify a movement if you have injuries or limitations.
These small group strength based workouts are a more affordable option to our private one on one sessions.
