ANYONE that wants key card access to the "24 hour after hours door" MUST come to the front desk during our business hours of 8 am to 8 pm (after 7/21 our opening hour will be 10 am), Monday thru Friday, and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm, and sign an agreement form. Once a member of our staff has gone over the agreement form with you and you have signed it, your 24 hour key card will be reinstated.
If you choose to not sign the agreement form, you will be denied use of the gyms 24 hour access. Come into the downtown area. Turn left (south) onto S. Palmer Street. Cross the railroad tracks. Right before you get to the stop sign there is a city parking lot on the left and Power Shop Fitness is on the right. Power Shop Fitness has been an establishment in the Plant City area since 1990 and has been owned and operated by the Mays family.
The building itself has been in the Mays family for generations. Back in the 1970's a gym, called Mega's Gym, was opened for the first time. Joe Mega the owner, eventually sold the gym and in the 80's Bobbie Watts purchased it and changed the name.
