Cari's approach to personal fitness training is very "common sense" and she works extra hard to take the intimidation factor out of getting into shape. Whether it's the outdoor group workouts or one-on-one training with Cari, there's no point in waiting.

After being a personal fitness trainer for several years and always encouraging my fitness clients to explore the outdoors while working out, I created EcoTrek Fitness in 2006.
I took a group of girlfriends and clients on a mini-EcoTrek session near Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, even as many of them claimed they would rather stay home!
Not only did they enjoy the outdoor group workout, they admitted that they would be willing to pay me to take them out regularly.
I was determined to keep my "peeps" moving into the winter months and we found that if we dressed for the weather, we could workout outside all year long - even in Michigan!
These are group sessions, all outdoors, in all kinds of weather, in a different outdoor location every time!
The sessions integrate strength training, cardio and flexibility all in one 75-minute workout - and every session is different.
There's really nothing better than using your outdoor environment as your GYM. while exploring the parks and trails near where you live, you'll be guided along on an invigorating workout.
While we have EcoTrekkers who only come in the warmer months, most people attend EcoTrek sessions year 'round, and comment that they enjoy the seasons so much more since becoming an EcoTrekker.

One of my favorite exercises I have really enjoyed doing is EcoTrek.
I have gotten the best workout compared to other forms of exercise.
It works my whole body and it's unique because I am outside in nature.
I have seen deer, unique trees, plants, wood carved by a woodpecker, the smells of rain, flowers, etc.
It's also a lot of fun, while your burning a lot of fat and toning up at the same time.
