Prescott Grind Boxing Gym offers boxing & kickboxing training for everybody regardless of age. You don't have to be a competitive fighter to benefit from this great workout. We offer technical classes where you will learn proper warm up, stretching exercises, fighting stance & positions, moving, how to wrap your hands, how to throw jab, cross, hook, uppercut, combinations & defenses (deflecting, back & side stepping, blocking, bobbing & weaving).
You will learn how to use heavy bags, speed bags, double-end bags, focus mitts, Thai pads, jumping ropes, medicine ball & combat bands. Our training sessions are designed to improve your endurance, strength, speed & balance as well as mental toughness. Coach Jarek Slagowski was born & raised in Poland.
He trained kickboxing & boxing in Europe (Poland, Germany, The Netherlands) & US and he worked as a coach of the Polish Kickboxing National Team.
In 1989 Jarek came to US (New Jersey) and trained & coached many State, Diamond & Golden Gloves Champions, JO, Youth and Masters Division boxers as well as kickboxing champions (TRINITY CUP).

At Grind Boxing Gym we offer two types of boxing workouts: no contact training sessions that utilize boxing exercises like target mitts, speciality bags, boxing conditioning and strength preparation, etc without actually getting hit.
Our classes include a warm-up, technical training, target mitts drills, heavy bag, double end bag work with stamina exercises mixed in throughout the class like jumping rope and medicine ball drills.
This type of training is a great cardio- vascular workout for men, women & teens and it is a fun and challenging class.
