I have been in and out of gyms for over 10 years. This is, by far, the most comprehensive and amazing gym I have ever had the pleasure of working out in. Staff is super encouraging, engaging, and knowledgeable. This gym truly wants you to workout with them for the rest of your life. Not just the next 3 months. Cannot say enough good stuff! In over 20 years of weight training, this is my favorite gym so far.

This place is more than just a gym - it is a tight-knit lifting community that is welcoming of newcomers striving to be the best version of themselves. The coaches are the most technical and helpful I've encountered. They are experienced and professional at helping you define and achieve your goals. They also organize trips to watch the Phillies, friendly cook off competitions, and other ways to engage with new friends inside and outside of the gym.

From Day 1 at Power Plant Gym, I haven't been alone. Every time I step into that gym there's someone in my corner, whether it's a fellow member offering a spot or a coach helping with my technique.

Power Plant Gym was born out of a need for a strength training space that is equal parts approachable, competitive, and fun.
We believe that everyone deserves to feel strong and happy, and that the gym should be a place you WANT to go, not out of obligation, but because you truly enjoy it.
After spending years in gyms obsessed with being "hard core, " PPG Founder Katie Feeley and her husband Brian set out to create a new kind of gym.
One that was welcoming enough for beginners, tough enough for competitors, and offered an effective path for people who wanted to travel between the two.

Learn and train on all our equipment in team sessions.
Our head coach has been in the strongman game for a decade and coaches from the novice to pro level.
Please note that the gym is appointment only, and you *must* pre-register ahead of time for a drop-in.
We have drop-in passes available each week for Strongman Saturday.
We also have VERY limited drop-in availability for morning, mid-afternoon, and weekend Open Gym times.

Specifically looking for strongman training?
We offer a hybrid program that combines online training in your own gym and in-person sessions with our experienced strongman coaches.
We also offer meet-day coaching (both in person and remotely) for online clients in strongman, powerlifting, and weightlifting.
Your coach will be there to make sure you're staying on track and progressing towards your goals.
We know that "nutrition" is an overwhelming topic that's often wrapped up in all kinds of feelings too.
We also know that quality nutrition habits lead to better results in the gym.
