A Personal View is a state-of-the-art private personal training studio that was created to promote one-on-one, customized training in functional fitness. Functional fitness is an exciting new personal training methodology that incorporates a wide variety of equipment and exercises to improve flexibility, stability, coordination, agility, balance and posture.
Functional fitness is anything but boring; it's a moving experience that results in an over-all feeling of wellness, increased strength and renewed energy. My mission is to motivate, encourage, inspire, and assist my clients in achieving their fitness goals. I do this by providing a safe, effective, private alternative to the impersonal, tiresome, machine-based training found in most health clubs.
My personal view is that fitness training should be a fun, challenging, and rewarding activity. I believe individuals learn faster and achieve their goals sooner by working one-on-one with a personal trainer in a private studio, away from the distractions typically found in most health clubs.

Functional fitness is a whole-body synergistic approach to fitness training that focuses on using multiple muscle groups in an integrated fashion, rather than using a series of weight machines to work out individual muscle groups.
Functional fitness is often referred to as "training for life, " because it focuses on preparing your body to eliminate pain and discomfort while you perform daily activities, such as walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs.

At age 63 I wanted to be stronger, safer and more comfortable while hiking, gardening, bicycling and the after-glow of all that.
Patti is a great teacher, always fully present with me ~ she observes, listens, guides, and meets me at my own level of skill.
Never boring, always a bright and interesting workout, each session is anticipated with a good deal of curiosity (how many positions can she think up for me to do push-ups!?)
We always have fun, and my daily life is more fun too, because after working with Patti for just a few weeks, I'm much more confident and comfortable in my activities.
