Built To Last Fitness
Built To Last Fitness is a personal training service that operates in the Metro Boston area. I am a personal trainer servicing clients in Needham, Newton, Wellesley and surrounding areas. How would you feel with less body fat, more stamina, heightened energy, increased flexibility, greater strength, and a fantastic sense of well being? I would love to take you there!

I am monitoring the social distancing guidelines from the CDC, federal, and state governments. I am taking all requisite safety precautions while training my clients. Your health and safety are the top priority. I am successfully helping clients with online training via Zoom and providing advanced program design through TrueCoach software. In-person training sessions are being conducted outdoors.

Please contact me for further information. So glad you're here! You might have a few questions so here is the important stuff. After that, please explore around and don't forget to check out my Articles for some great info. A: I take a complete approach to fitness.

I value balance.
I believe in working hard - both in the gym and in life, but I acknowledge the need for rest and recovery.
I seek to achieve harmony and help my clients do the same.
As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I place heavy emphasis on grit and mental fortitude.
People can conquer extreme adversity if they have the willingness to improvise, adapt, and overcome.
Lasting fitness demands resilience in both mind and body.
Everything starts with love.
I believe that life is a blessing and we are compelled to make the world a better place by treating each other with love and respect.
Built To Last Fitness offers several options to help you get into the best shape of your life.
All training services include nutritional guidance.
In-home personal training is the most exclusive service available.
I will take you through effective workout sessions in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
I can utilize equipment you have or bring my equipment to you.
You don't need to fight traffic and search for a parking space.
You just need to be home, ready to work.
It's all in the recipe.
I have been training with Matt for 2 years now.
I have always been an athlete as well a spin instructor.
I do marathons, triathlons and 200-mile bike challenges.
I sought out a professional because I was getting stuck in my routine and I knew that as I age I would have to ramp up other aspects of my routine to ensure that I can exercise and stay injury free through my twilight years.
Matt has been instrumental in keeping me injury free and more competitive than I was when I was younger.
He offers up routines of various stages of difficulty and length of time.
Ask ten people what is the best way to get in the best shape of your life and you'll probably get ten different answers.
There is so much information on the topic, and even more opinions about it, that it can be overwhelming.
There are only 3.5 components needed to build the ultimate you.
They are best visually represented in my Fitness Triangle.
These components are: Mind Set, Training, Nutrition, and lastly, Recovery.
If you focus on these fundamentals, you can construct and maintain a body that can last a very long time.
The above quote is often misattributed to Aristotle.
While the spirit of the words may have been wholly inspired by Aristotle, it was William Durant, American philosopher, who wrote them in his 1926 book, The Story of Philosophy.
Frankly, it doesn't matter who the hell said it.
It's simple and it's true.
Excellence demands quality repetition.
Busy chipping away at your health and fitness goals?
You'll never make it if you don't stick to it.
There are many factors that contribute to success.
Grit is one of the greatest attributes you can rely on to help you stick to your plan.
