I was 53 and had just moved into a house with a pool but did not know how to swim.
While not a swimming instructor by trade, Joe was an accomplished swimmer himself and with his natural ability and dedication to learning more through thorough research, he became a trusted and knowledgeable teacher. Over time with Joe's guidance, I was able to achieve the basics of swimming at an age where those skills can be difficult to learn. In 2011, I had a total left knee replacement and Joe has worked with me ever since, initially on PT and rehab, then regular personal training sessions.
