Eppolito Boxing Gym is a full service boxing club - we have students who are serious competitors in the ring (we are USA-Boxing sanctioned - Club#542), students learning the sport for the pure joy of it, and students using the program as a fitness tool to get back into shape and lose weight. Our coaches have the right balance between pushing you to the next level and encouraging you for the successes you have in each class.

We have boxers who are getting started before they hit the double digits, we have boxers who are just getting started well into their 40s. There is a place for everyone! Come down and "give it the old one-two"! All participants must sign a liability waiver, and for those less than 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the minor to sign the waiver before participating in the first class.

If you are looking for something fast-paced and new, a little unconventional where your workout time will be fun and fly by, boxing is perfect!
You can punch your way into shape, get rid of stress, and learn a method of defending yourself.
If you've never tried boxing, you might think, compared to other sports, it's different because we use our hands and not our knees or elbows (okay, we do use them, just not to hit people).
You might think the only thing in boxing that's important is scoring a knockout punch and skill or technique just don't matter.
Boxers KNOW that boxing is tough - tough training, tough competition.
You'll work harder than you've ever worked in your life.
That knockout punch?
It's really the lucky strike - 99% of boxing is pure raw speed, power and endurance, requiring reflexes and fast reaction times.
There's nothing, nothing like the rush of getting in the ring and going toe-to-toe, eye-to-eye and fist-to-fist with a competitor.
But it's not easy.
Competitive boxing fights are not judged just on how skillful you are or which one "fought better."
It counts points, and points are determined by the number of direct hits you make on your opponent.
You'll be constantly moving on your feet, working offense and defense tactics simultaneously and demanding more from your body that ever in order to walk away with that trophy that says you are the best!
Boxing is intense cardio work and burns a ton of calories.
It also manages to do double duty for cardio as a great HIIT workout.
Plus, the body weight exercises build muscle and physical stamina at the same time as you're building cardio endurance and torching calories.
It's a great way to shed pounds and have fun at the same time.
If you're just getting started and you want to try something new, if you're deathly tired of the treadmill and the elliptical at the gym, or if you're trying to ditch those last few pounds and they just won't budge, boxing could be your ticket to weight loss!
