With so many fitness options out there and tons of confusing information, it's hard to know exactly what you should do. Regardless of age, gender, past injury, or experience, you have the choice to get better today. I never used to last at a gym longer than a few months because I always felt out-of-place and never really knew what the heck I was doing.

Now, I've been consistently working out for over two years! Northcross Fitness creates a space where members feel inspired, comfortable and confident. The large and extremely colorful artwork featured on the walls of our downtown studio tells you everything that you need to know about me and my vision for Mindful Barbell. I chose to go with Lloyd and Harry, the lovable knuckleheads from one of my favorite comedy movies, Dumb and Dumber.

I don't know when it became the status quo for personal trainers to put out-of-shape middle-aged people on a treadmill for 15 minutes and call it a legitimate warm-up.
