Love this place! I've been going to Blue Ocean for over a year. The trainers are all great at keeping workouts challenging. The staff provides opportunities for challenges, coaching, nutrition advice, and other guidance that help you progress in your fitness journey. The owner, John, has created an environment that promotes fitness while having fun.

Semi-Private Personal Training involves one coach working with up to 6 individualsat the same time.
What makes it unique is that each workout is tailored to theindividual.
While we don't believe you need someone to hover over you one on one, we do believe everyone can benefit from a custom solution based around yourindividual needs and goals.
As an added benefit, this also allows for a morecost-effectiveserviceand flexible scheduling.

In my experience, working in both large and small facilities, I realized that sales numbers were often more important than the members' results.
One day while sitting at one of these gyms, I asked if I would ever feel comfortable sending my mother (who did not exercise) to workout at one of these facilities.
Without hesitation, the answer was no! Sending her blindly into a gym without any real guidance or support would almost certainly set her up for failure.

We want you to try it out for 30 days, meet our team, meet our other clients, and see why we've been Chesterfield's #1 ranked personal training studio since 2011.
For 30 days, each time you walk through our doors you'll be in a small group, with a coach to ensure you're working at an optimal pace, using correct form, and following a program based on your goals, wants, and needs.

Call, email or stop by to schedule your Strategy Session.
During this ~20 minute initial visit, we want to learn more about you, your goals, needs, prior workout experience, etc.
If you would like, we can begin your first workout that same day immediately following your Strategy Session.
Then select "virtual" for online training or "in person" for training in the gym.
Do NOT select "any staff" as it will assign you randomly and you have a 50/50 chance of getting it correct.
That depends on your goals, current activity level and several other factors but a good general rule of thumb is about three times per week.
