From Yoga to BootCamp to CrossFit, we meet you where you're at. We're a community of people striving to help each other achieve fitness goals and overcome obstacles. First in Flight Athletics is a team of dedicated coaches who strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment while providing our community with the best possible coaching. We want our athletes to be stronger, leaner, faster, and more coordinated.

We believe that better movement and increased range of motion are the cornerstones of health and fitness. It is our aim to aide all of our athletes in the pursuit of elite fitness.

Daniel Montero is the head coach, programmer, and owner of First in Flight Athletics.
A soccer aficionado since age 4, Daniel racked up many accolades in the sport, including a two-time leading scorer and all-state, regional, and conference player.
Pursuing his athletics in college at UNC-W, he found CrossFit and immediately found a new talent, quickly becoming a secondary coach while earning his degree in Exercise Science.
He has continued to increase his knowledge of the sport of fitness by attending seminars while being a head programmer and coach at his previous gym.
Our CrossFit classes are one hour in length.
During this time, you'll be lead through a group warm-up followed by a strength/skill segment.
Each day differs, which makes our athletes well rounded and gives them experience with each varying aspect that is CrossFit.
Following that, you will be lead through a Workout of the Day (WOD) which will consist of multiple combinations of exercise that challenge every aspect of your physical fitness capability.
While these workouts are meant to push each individual to their limits - there are modifications and scaled versions of the same movements that allow the workout to be enjoyed by every athlete, despite their current skill level.
Extremely great with working with clients who have past injuries and need to get back to a normal active life.
Wife and I are nutrition gurus so we thrive in helping people understand food and balance.
One-on-One Sessions are 1 hour sessions - $30-40 per session Free Consultation is always included!
