CFV Vail isn't just another gym. It's a community where athletes of all different backgrounds come together to support each others' fitness goals. Our focus is on improving the entire body through a huge variety of cross-training exercises that are performed in a motivating group setting. Our program is geared for those who love outdoor sports & recreation and love to feel and look healthy and strong.
Each and every class is different and you never know what to expect. Some days we'll be focusing on core strength, other days cardio strength, and other days on isolated muscle groups. We use a muscle confusion theory that keeps our members well rounded athletes instead of sport specific athletes. The general goal is for us to be able to perform at all sports but not be the best at any one sport.
Those that want to be the best at one sport, we also offer a program that will help in that area of competitive sports. Because each class is different, it's tough to define the "typical class". But each class does follow a familiar format: we start with warm-ups, move onto mobility/stretching, then onto the "strength segment", and finally the famous WORKOUT OF THE DAY!

Sam Matthews is the best coach with whom I ever trained.
I came to CFV for the first time in 2012 when I was in Vail for the summer.
Since then, it is a routine I can't do without.
The Workouts are challenging, the people welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is always fun and lively.
However, for me this is about lifestyle, mindset, and health.
You just don't exercise for a set period of time and then somehow graduate or finish.
It is about developing a sustainable plan that will grow and change with you.

A little about Rosa.
What is your favorite lift/movement?
Hang Power Clean, any Clean Variation really!
What is your least favorite lift/movement?
What are your future training goals?
They include being able to RX the CrossFit Open, so that includes focusing on some Olympic lifting and working on my weaknesses!
What are your hobbies?
Give us some words to live by or your favorite quote?
But one thing is fairly certain: where you look is where you'll go, on a bike or in this life.
So pick your line well and stop riding your brakes.
