We are a member-owned and operated climbing gym co-op located in Silverthorne, CO. Summit Climbing Gym provides a safe, affordable and fun indoor climbing facility for people of all ages and abilities. We no longer have capacity restrictions, appointments and masks are no longer required, and new members and guests are welcome! Thank you for bearing with us and supporting us through the pandemic.

Not all climbing gyms made it to the other side, and we are happy (and relieved!) that we did. We are a co-op gym - member owned and operated - and that means you are going to be part of our For climbers. By climbers mantra. This also means that we don't have staff at all times, so bear with us and we will bring you into the fold. Once you become a member, you will have access to the gym from 6 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week!

As a co-op gym we don't have any staff. We aren't able to offer much in the way of classes, although from time to time we do. However, we generally expect that you already have a little experience climbing and would be able to pass a top rope test (both climbing and belaying) before you join the gym.
Services
From time to time we're approached by organizations that would like to bring groups of children into the gym to expose them to climbing and teach them the basics.
Adults/group leaders must be certified by Summit Climbing Gym (SCG) staff prior to belaying their group members in the gym.
Groups will only be allowed to use the gym at pre-approved times, both so that members can be notified in advance and so that groups aren't using the gym during peak hours.
Each participant must have an online MindBody account with a waiver signed by a parent, as well as a signed waiver from their program.
Signing up in person is the easiest and fastest way to get your membership and have any additional questions answered.
The volunteer will show you how to set up an account on MindBody online (which you can also do on your own - see the instructions in the next section below) and they'll get you set up with a key fob.
They'll also give you a quick overview of how the gym works and what is expected of you as a member.
They'll also give you a belay test (either top rope or lead, depending on your comfort and experience level).
