BPM Fitness
The BPM community also makes me feel accepted. For years, I've struggled with anxiety and never felt like I was good enough. That I could never be an athlete or look a certain "perfect" way that I built up in my mind. Since starting at BPM, my self-confidence is higher and I feel better about myself (inside and out!). This is a combination of the effective workouts and the motivation that I get from the coaches.

No amount of therapy has worked as well as coming to BPM! The workouts are constantly shifting and evolving so it's impossible to develop muscle memory or mental fatigue with the different routines. I honestly don't know where I'd be without BPM. Certainly not back on the golf course or the Schuylkill River running path. I have BPM to thank for that.

You guys rock! As a fit pro myself I have always been picky with who I trust with my body. The BPM crew bring incredible energy and knowledge to every single class, which makes it easy to choose a class that fits my schedule, rather than only seek out the instructors I like over another.
Services
At BPM, we offer three different formats of classes: 45 Minutes of Indoor, Power Based Cycling, 45 Minutes of full body and dynamic strength training, and 60-minute combination classes that bring you the best of both.
Our classes primarily use Kettlebells and TRX Straps, but we incorporate other modalities to keep you on your toes!
Our strength and combo classes have 4 different styles: The Roots, Pure Power, The Full Body Burn, and The Circuit Breaker.
The Circuit Breaker is our signature high-powered, full-body workout where members are split into groups.
The BPM Experience, founded by Shoshana Katz, was designed from the desire to create the best and most high-powered workout in Philadelphia.
In 2010 Shoshana started working in the fitness industry as a cycling instructor and soon became one of Philly's top coaches.
During this time, she expanded her knowledge and education by becoming an A.C.E.
Certified Personal Trainer and TRX Group Instructor.
Through her experience leading classes all over the city, she realized there was something missing from the fitness scene here in Philly.
We provide both towels for you to use while you're taking class and shower towels if you need them to freshen up after!
We have 2 showers in the ladies room and 2 showers in the men's room along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, disposal razors, and everything else you need to get ready for your day or night!
We do not provide shoes at our facility.
Our bikes are SPD compatible, so riders are more than welcome to bring and wear their own shoes.
All of our bikes also have toe straps, so sneakers work perfectly fine as well.
Shoshana got her start at the age of 2 when her parents tossed her onto a gymnastics mat.
Fourteen years and multiple shoulder, lower back, and knee injuries later, she called it quits to focus on her other love; performing.
Shoshana went on to major in Musical Theatre in college, receiving her BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Throughout this time, she continued to work as a party motivator and MC for Cutting Edge Entertainment, bringing parties to life and capturing crowds all over the Philly party scene.
Growing up, Ella's identity was an athlete.
As a softball, basketball and soccer player, Ella thrived off of the support she felt from her team and the inner drive she felt from competing.
When she left for college, Ella lost much of her identity as a competitive athlete, and had to find other exercise routines, filling her time running, lifting, and rowing on the University of San Diego Crew team.
After college, Ella moved to Central America to work for a study abroad program.
Running on the hot and exhaust-filled streets of El Salvador quickly became unappealing, so Ella started looking for different fitness routines.
