Sydney Stiles was born and raised in Southern California. After discovering that fitness and following an eating plan focused on whole foods were the solution to relieve her Fibromyalgia pain, she decided to move to Traverse City, MI in 2010 to enjoy a slower pace of life in a beautiful area filled with year round outdoor activities. She enjoys growing organic vegetables, kayaking, tennis, hiking, cycling, swimming, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and playing with her two wonderful Australian Shepards.

She has been using TRX Suspension Training for the past 12 years, and teaching it for 10 years. Sydney is dedicated to providing the highest quality training to her clients, and does so by staying up to date on her certification requirements, and learning new training techniques through a wide variety of continuing education courses and fitness conferences.

She is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer with specialties in Weight Management, Orthopedic Fitness and Youth Fitness. She is also a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer with 6+ years of experience working with clients with neurological injuries including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.
Services
The first step to effective personal training is a thorough fitness assessment.
During our first session, we will spend half of the time talking about YOU.
We will go over your health history, specifically any injuries, surgeries or problem areas that you have had, as all of these play a role in how your body moves and functions.
We will discuss your fitness goals (both short and long term), and how we can work together to achieve them.
Additionally, we will talk about your current eating habits, after all.exercise is only half of the equation to healthy living.
Small Group Training gives you all the benefits of working with a personal trainer combined with the motivation that comes from being part of a "team" at a great price!
You can either join an existing small group if there is space, or form a new group made up of your friends, family members, co-workers, or whomever you'd like to workout with!
Group size ranges between 3 and 6 participants.
Small group training is a typically a 4-week commitment, with 1, 2, or 3 workouts per week.
Small Group session workouts are designed with each participant in mind, specifically their fitness goals and fitness level.
Virtual Personal Training is personal training via FaceTime or GoogleMeet.
Just set up your device so that your trainer can see you well, and get ready for a great workout!
Workouts that are custom made for YOU! Exercise progressions and challenges that match your fitness level, your goals, and the activities/exercises you like doing.
A certified personal trainer who watches your every move and suggests form corrections when needed to make sure you get the most out of each exercise without getting hurt.
Energized Fitness, LLC has partnered with Miranda Monroe of Grand Traverse Nutrition to provide clients access to a highly respected registered dietician at an affordable price.
Realistic and down to earth, Miranda is passionate about enjoying food to the fullest and nourishing a healthy, balanced, lifestyle through real foods.
She uses Michigan grown foods and local ingredients whenever possible for whole foods with the freshest taste and highest nutritional value.
A home "chef" with training in food science and culinary arts, Miranda provides back to basics, hands-on cooking classes for creating delicious, nutritious "fast" food for busy people.

I found Sydney on her website about five years ago while searching in Traverse City for a trainer who could teach me and train me using TRX.
Little did I know that she would come with knowledge in many different areas of body work including foam rolling and trigger point release.
She was also able to help me with the exercises my physical therapist sent home with me.
I couldn't have landed on a more versatile person to meet my needs in personal training.
