Welcome to Longevity, a personal training gym, exercise, and weight training studio in downtown Millburn/Short Hills. Longevity Personal Fitness is the Millburn/ Short Hill's area's first and only personal training studio and gym to offer a research-based functional fitness program to improve your health, support an active lifestyle, and help you look and feel better than ever.

I adapt your training to your unique body's needs and will design a fitness program specifically for you. Whether your goal is to increase your strength and mobility, improve your quality of life, have better posture, or just feel good, I provide personal training to keep you at the top of your game and doing what you love. You won't be just another face in the crowd.

I don't think your life should be focused on your exercise routine. I want you to spend your time doing the things you love and want my training to help to do those things. At Longevity Personal Fitness the focus is on the movements we do every day: bending, reaching, rotating, squatting, pushing/pulling, and construct exercises that strengthen our ability to do these tasks, challenging our motor control, strength, and coordination.
Using proven health science methodology focused on maintaining a high level of mental and physical function, I'll offer options that are safe, fun, and beneficial.
Born and raised in Millburn, I have been on a path of studying the areas of fitness and health for over 30 years.

I want you to exercise in a way that feels good and doesn't wear you down.
We'll begin our training together by conducting a simple, physical, full-body assessment to determine which needs are most apparent and address those areas first.
Your personal training sessions are then planned to progress week by week focusing on biomechanics, strength, functional movement, and whole-body health.
All of my exercise patterns are constructed with a whole-body approach, rather than strengthening parts.
You will never find me doing lower-body work one day and upper-body work another.
Training sessions start with a complimentary assessment with Senior Trainer, Mike Romano.
The assessment provides the information needed to tailor your workouts to your unique body, needs, and goals.
After determining your schedule, you'll have direct, personalized contact with Mike.
Live sessions will take place via Zoom (with all necessary security precautions in place).
After years of in person training sessions with Mike Romano the thought of working online via zoom seemed a bit less than ideal, but I was wrong.
