Tami Poortman is the owner of Genesee Mountain Fitness.
She is dedicated to quality training and creating one-on-one connections with her clients.
Tami is originally from West Palm Beach, FL.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Sports Nutrition from Carson Newman University (1992), a private school located in Jefferson City, TN / their exercise sport science program was rated second in academics in the nation.
Tami was very athletic in school, played varsity soccer, on the dance team, sang in choir and played in the college band.
She became a professional certified licensed exercise specialist in 1993 from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Health, fitness and helping others define Lisa Holland.
Always a competitor and fitness fan, Lisa pursued a career in fitness as a general manager, personal trainer and fitness instructor for various health clubs.
She earned her certifications with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), National Association for Health and Fitness (NAHF) and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Her training experience includes functional training, cardio respiratory, advanced nutrition, prenatal, spinning/cycling, Peak Pilates Level I Reformer and CPR.
Dana Inman has been teaching fitness for more than 30 years.
Certified as a personal trainer and a group exercise instructor, she has taught everything from high-impact aerobics to yoga.
It wasn't until Pilates entered her life that she developed true body awareness and balance.
She now is completely fulfilled and carrying out her passion of teaching and sharing with others what she feels is the "missing link" in the world of fitness.
Her specialty is teaching Pilates (privately or group) and incorporating the full system - reformer, mat, cadillac, chair, barrels and accessories.
Throughout his life, Bobby Strausser has always been into sports and fitness.
From playing lacrosse, golf, basketball, to backcountry skiing, distance running, and now weight training, he enjoys experiencing all forms of fitness.
Bobby started weight training during his sophomore year of high school and was instantly hooked on the many ways it improved his strength, endurance, and his confidence.
Soon, friends began asking Bobby to help in their strength training as well, and a trainer was born.
