I have been in the fitness industry for over 35 years. I started as an aerobics instructor in the 80's, then became a runner, and now I'm focused on strength training & nutrition. I was in denial to the fact that I was a yo-yo dieter! I guess I had become comfortable with gaining and losing 5-10 pounds all of my life! I also had an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise!

I've discovered that I have a sugar addiction! I would make healthy choices all day long only to come home and "reward" myself for doing so good all day with M&M's and ice cream! This, therefore, caused me to have to go to the gym and workout for 2 or more hours just to try to balance it out, which it never did or I never would've gained 5-10 pounds!
