Sidekick Martial Arts & Fitness
Sidekick Martial arts training will give your son or daughter the chance to strengthen their mind as well as body. Our children's program includes a mix of Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jujitsu, Muay Thai, and kettlebell strength training. Practicing weapons requires focused attention, motor steadiness and helps children with impairing symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

We see this in every class when students and Instructors bow to each other in the start and end of every lesson. We also see it when partners bow to each other when they start working together, and when students bow when they first walk onto the training area. When we bow, we look up at the person and make eye contact. When we bow, we are telling ourselves and the entire school that we take the things we are about to do seriously, and we are ready and prepared to do what is necessary for our training.

If we treat things as though they are important, we are treating them with respect, and we can create a place of learning.

Our instructors are trained professionals who are certified to teach the physical and character-building traits that develop black belts from the inside out.

We added martial arts training to Kettlebell workouts to improve your mental strength and build your self-defense skills.
The development of kettlebells can be traced back to Russian farmers in the 1700s.
They used kettlebells as counterweights to measure out grain at the market.
As bored farmers learned the weights could be heaved and tossed in feats of strength and endurance, kettlebells began enjoying a central role in farming festivals.
Sidekick offers custom created birthday events for children of all ages, featuring numerous fun, high-energy activities to engage all the partygoers no matter their skill level.
We will host your birthday party with creative and interactive Martial Arts based games to keep celebrations and enthusiasm high.
Your child will work with us as the special "assistant instructor" and lead their friends in a day of Karate culminating in teaching all the children how to safely break their very own board!

Designed for 3 1/2 - 5-year-old kids.
Tiny tigers learn martial arts, play fitness inspired games, and learn how to follow directions and communication skills to respect others.
Ages 5 1/2 - 8 years old.
Students learn basic up to advanced fundamentals of Martial Arts: including kicks, punches, blocks, stretching, and bodyweight exercises.
