You are an individual. You have your own needs and goals. In our South Portland studio, we expertly blend personal and training together to offer you a training experience that you can't get at a gym. We train people within their means centered around their goals to improve health and quality of life. At Foss Fitness ME we use a proven system of movement based therapy to help you meet the goals YOU set; from assessments right down to tracking results.

We stay current in the industry and apply the latest fitness principles into each individual's regimen to enhance the tried and true systems that already work. We put a strong emphasis on nutrition education and strive to create healthy relationships with food so you have lifelong success. Our 3, 6, & 12-month packages are designed to meet you where you are today.

If you've reached a plateau with fitness or have never been active our convenient 45-minute sessions will get you to your goals. Our main goal is helping you meet your goals. In addition to our individualized approach, we believe in using minimal equipment for lasting results.

Individual Personal Training at FFME means you work one-on-one with a certified personal trainer.
You don't have private access to our studio, another client could be having an individual session of their own with another trainer at the same time.
Your individual training sessions are completely centered around you, your current level of fitness, and the goals you'd like to get out of working with a personal trainer.
Each FFME client starts by having a consultation, followed by starting measurements, a physical assessment, desired goals, and general paperwork.
I started a teacher training program in 2014 only to deepen my practice.
After about a year, I found that the desire and poise to teach came quite naturally to me, so I shifted my focus from just observing to becoming an active participant.
From there I began assisting my mentor in class, and teaching a group of finance co-workers at IDEXX, as well as teaching many family and friends.
Throughout 2017 I dedicated several hours a week studying for assessment.
The assessment itself is a two-to-three-day endeavor.
Since launching the Kickstart Fitness program in 2016 it has quickly become our most popular service!

As you take control of your health and fitness, you'll achieve some serious results along the way.
Live sessions with a certified personal trainer from the comfort of your own home (or anywhere with enough space and reliable internet connection).
Online training isn't for everyone, however.
For some, staying in your comfort zone makes it harder to stay committed to your exercise program.
Due to the level of commitment we give to all of our clients, we only accept a small number of applicants to work remotely with.
