Not long after I started personal training in 2006, I created a fitness blog and ended each post with the sign off, Be Well. That's because I believe fitness is wholly about wellness. I don't believe in fad diets or workouts. The kind of work we do together is about lasting health and fitness, not about a quick fix that will ultimately leave you exhausted, hungry, and yearning to fall back into old habits and right back to where you started.
We will focus on the right kind of fitness for your body that will make you feel your best. We will work on fixing your body's muscle imbalances which will ultimately help you to move better in your daily life. It's about making a plan for your life, not for short periods of time in your life. I think a huge part of confidence comes from feeling strong and capable in your body.
When you focus on the right kind of fitness, it can completely change your life. Whether that means being able to power through your day at work, keep up with the demands of parenthood, and/or feel the accomplishment of finishing an endurance race for the first time, being able to count on your body to carry you through is the first piece of confidence.
