The Forge Strength Gym is a collaborative vision of Jim Jarvis and Kevin Elliot who saw a need for a gym based on the old school gyms of years gone by. In order to do this we built the gym with two things in mind, free weights and community. Every athlete knows that atmosphere contributes to success and having the right equipment and people who bring the best out of each other is the key!.
So, The Forge is a place for those who don't desire all the pomp and circumstance of the other places and just want to train with other like minded people. The Forge IS a place of respect, not only for the needs of the athletes but for one another. It is not a fitness center, it's aN OLD SCHOOL gym!.

We are a family owned gym consisting of two friends who had a vision and decided to team up to give you the gym they always wish they had.
One that reminded them of the old school body building/power lifting days where strength and size are encouraged and everyone brings out the best in each other.
After several years of spinning my wheels, my family had a major life change moving from from rural New England to the Suburbs of Kansas City.
After settling in I hit the jackpot and found a great gym with even better people.

Join us for Judgement Day, a WPLF sanctioned powerlifting meet including full power, push/pull, bench only, deadlift only.
We have partnered with KCSTRONGMAN to bring you our first annual strongman competition and ensure our event is run and setup with the competitors in mind.
Jim and Kevin would like to invite you to our first Strongman event at The Forge.
Please join us as 70 pro and amateur competitors put it all on the line for your entertainment.
