At CGX our mission is getting people to achieve more than they thought possible in the area of CrossFit fitness, health, and wellness. We do this by providing a friendly and welcoming workout environment with an intentional methodology of training coupled with experienced trainers to teach, motivate, and encourage people to meet their own individual goals.

All our trainers are focused on three things: teaching, motivating, and encouraging people to meet their own individual goals. With a variety of fitness and wellness backgrounds, our trainers are enthusiastic about helping people achieve more than they thought they possibly could.

Here are some questions we hear often from CrossFit newbies.
This warm-up is only a general idea, and coaches and athletes can easily adjust it or create their own versions in order to prepare them for a specific workout.
Use a weight that's manageable for you or use a percentage of the weight prescribed, and substitute movements you can do.

The CrossFit Journal also contains resources to help you scale the workout to your level.
The short answer: Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.
Develop warm up sequence of class to prepare member for prescribed strength and conditioning training.
Ensure that all members get a great experience through promoting a very encouraging and warm environment.
Prepare for each coaching session ensuring correct coaching points for each movement and all scaled options for prescribed movements.
Observe and correct members form as needed; never allow a member to continue a movement with incorrect form even if in the middle of a WOD.
Greet potential members and be able to clearly communicate and promote CGX Fitness, sell potential members on our value and how we can help them achieve their fitness goals.
