Jason's Sensory Gym provides individualized pediatric occupational therapy services. Geared towards finding the primary problem, a specific therapeutic program is developed with the parents and the school to help a child overcome his/her developmental issues, improve functional performance and achieve independence. Because Jason understands that each child's needs are unique, he will develop a parent friendly case by case therapeutic program designed to meet your child's individual needs.
Services
Jason's Sensory Gym was established in 2004.
It is a safe, modern and fun sensory integration gym.
It has served kids from all over the tri-state area with a parent-friendly, child-centered approach.
There is a strict "one child/one therapist" at a time rule for private clients to best help each child have a productive and successful treatment session without the distraction of other clients.
The gym is conveniently located right off Route 4 and easily accessible from Interstate 80/95.
Evaluations and treatment sessions are by appointment only.
Sensory Integration Therapy- To help children process and interpret information from their environment (movement, touch, smell, sound).
We use suspended equipment, balance beams, balls and other multi-sensory tools and equipment.
Handwriting Without Tears - A handwriting program that uses a simple developmental approach to successfully teach children a natural, automatic method for print and cursive writing.
Interactive Metronome - A technology-based training program to improve attention, concentration, motor planning, timing and sequencing skills.
The following 3 documents are required for In-Network clients only: (not applicable to out-of-network or non-insurance clients).
ICD-10 Diagnostic Numeric Code (please only use appropriate medical necessity based codes related to the child's need for therapy).
Avoid using all developmental diagnostic codes, i.e.
ADHD, PDD, Sensory Integration Disorder, or Developmental Delay/Disorder, as these codes, as well as other similiar ICD-10 codes, are usually not accepted by the insurance companies.
Note: Jason's Sensory Gym will NOT accept ICD-10 codes that are not applicable to your child or supply a parent/doctor with a diagnostic code.
