Located on the west side of the Fox River, directly off of Wilson Street, River West Family Fitness is a part of Batavia history. Nestled in a building dating back to the 1800s, the facility was home to many businesses. Among those businesses include the Newton Wagon Company and the Batavia Bowl. Exposed limestone, wooden supports, and pieces of railroad pulleys bring this space together to create a unique exercise experience just for you.
The facility features over 40 pieces of cardio equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, etc. We also provide an extensive free weight training center. This includes an Olympic lifting platform, a Smith machine, and weights ranging from 3 to 115 pounds. An open second floor features our babysitting facility, men's and women's locker rooms (with a dry sauna and several showers), and a large space with heavy bag and speed bags.
Anytime class is not in session, feel free to utilize the space for your workouts! We also offer all members shower and sweat towels, hand disinfectant, and spray disinfectant for all machines.

Kids ages 6 months to 9 years old are welcome to stay in our Playroom while the parents workout.
