Native to Oceanside, California. The Compound MMA gym has 10 unique classes covering ALL forms of fighting and self-defense for beginners all the way up to seasoned experts! Classes are always taught by UFC professional fighters with a real heart and passion for the sport! We offer classes for kids and adults any age and experience level. So don't be shy if you have never done fighting or self-defense before!

We WORKOUT!
Starting with proper technique and keeping you motivated with some awesome tunes and people around you working and sweating harder than ever!
On a typical day in this class we start with the breakdown of exercises we will be doing on the whiteboard.
Then go outside for our warmup round and set up a workout circuit.
Then, i'm sure you can fill in the rest.
We have everything you need.
Just make sure to bring a water bottle and we do actually have ice cold water thats purified at the gym for you to use!

Here at the compound we teach everything from footwork to how to throw a proper punch/kick to how to block and defend punches using your body and legs.
On a typical Tuesday/Thursday evening Muay Thai class we start warm ups with foot work drills or jump ropes, we move over to thai pad work and defensive drills and at the end test your skills in a mini sparring match (if your up for it) or finish off with some of everyone's favorite thing.
We do provide all equipment such as gloves, headgear, and sometimes hand wraps but we do suggest getting your own hand wraps, shin pads, gloves, and mouth guard (only if sparring).

Here at the compound we teach everything from footwork and body placement, to how you take down opponents bigger than you and learning to use your opponents weight against them.
On a typical Monday/Friday evening Jiu Jitsu class we start warm ups with stretching and getting our body warm, we move over to technique and live partner work drills.
We don't require you to wear a gi or uniform for this BJJ class.
Wear tighter fitting clothes that you don't mind being pulled on and stretched.
