Established in 2014 by Kim Alderwick and Shane Miller, The Miller Gym welcomes people of all ages and levels of fitness. Our clients range in age from 12 to 87 and reflect the beautiful diversity of this community. Some are high level athletes, some have never set foot in a gym before. Our individualized approach assures appropriate challenge for everyone.
It is our goal to provide instruction and programs for all our clients to safely develop their strength, agility, balance and confidence. Your program is tailored to you and your goals. We are not just trainers, we are coaches and educators, too, with many, many years of experience in our field. For athletes interested in the sport of weightlifting, we offer expert coaching and superior quality equipment.

We design your individualized work out program based upon your goals, then schedule a one hour appointment during which we teach you the exercises.
All are recorded on a card to which you refer while you train.
We work with you to determine appropriate weights and verify your understanding of the movements.
Thereafter, you are welcome to use the gym when it is convenient to you.

For clients seeking improved health and fitness, most programs entail dumb bell training in combination with step up boxes, balls, balance beams, rings, trampoline, rowers, bikes and much more, offering variety and meaningful development of strength and flexibiliy.

Since its inception in 2004, athletes registered with Miller Weightlifting have earned more than 750 titles and have set records at state, national and international competitions.
Our competitive athletes range in age from 12 to 86 and include people with all levels of experience.
Everyone who lifts weights as part of their programming is encouraged to participate though it is not mandatory.
